BURN PERMIT REQUEST FORM

Franktown Fire Protection District residents must obtain a burn permit before any burning activities. This ensures safety regulation compliance and community protection from fire hazards. Burning requirements must be understood and meet prior to a burning permit being issued. Online burning permits request will only be reviewed and approved Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

Burning Requirements:

Size: Burn piles must be no larger than 3 feet by 3 feet. You may add material to the pile as it burns down.
Clearance: Piles must be located at least 50 feet away from any building or structure.
Materials: Only natural wood or yard debris may be burned. Burning trash is strictly prohibited.
Safety: A reliable water source must be immediately available on-site.
