To ensure a safe environment for our community, vendors, and visitors, the Franktown Fire Protection District requires fire code permits and inspections for special events and mobile food trucks operating within the district. These safety check-ins are a vital tool in protecting your business, your patrons, and the public at crowded community gatherings.

The Permitting & Inspection Process

• Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: All operational mobile food trucks must secure a valid permit and pass a fire safety inspection (focusing on fire suppression systems, gas lines, and cooking equipment) prior to operating at local events.

• Special Events: Event coordinators must submit event layouts and details for review to ensure proper emergency vehicle access, occupant load safety, and compliance with local fire codes.
